Except for History
subject, the question papers of each subject of the Junior
Unified Examination are divided into Paper1 and Paper 2.
Paper 1 of History is a project report which is not conducted
during the UEC examination. |

Except for Art subject, at
the end of the first stage of each subject, |

there is an interval
of 15 minutes in the morning. After the answer scripts
of Paper 1 have been collected, invigilators may instruct
all the candidates to leave the examination hall.
They will then immediately distribute question papers
and answer scripts of Paper 2. Five minutes before
the examination, candidates may reenter the examination
hall and fill in the “O” Answer Sheet (computer card)
and get ready to attempt Paper 2. |
| (b) |
there is no interval in the afternoon.
Candidates may proceed to complete Paper 2 when the
answer scripts of Paper 1 are being collected. In
the case of History subject, candidates proceed to
answer subjective questions in Section B of Paper
2 when the “O” answer sheet of Section A Paper 2 are
being collected. |

Junior Art examination will
be conducted earlier on 8 October in order to standardize
the distributing time of question papers for Art and Fine
Art & Craft, facilitate the collection of answer scripts
by invigilators and the transfer of candidates to another
test room, Fine Art (Paper Section B) and Applied Art (Paper2)
examination will be conducted in the morning, and Fine Art
(Section A) examination in the afternoon. |
